Evelyn L. Dinger, age 87, of Suffield Township passed away on Monday August 17, 2015 in Altercare of Brimfield with her daughter by her side. Evelyn was born on November 8, 1927 in Akron to the late Charles Bernard and Marie Louise Grand and graduated from Tallmadge High School. She married John Dinger January 3, 1947. Evelyn had been a nurse's aide at Hartville Manor. Survived by daughter Donna (Mark) Crandall of Doylestown, sons John C. (Carol) Dinger of Milwaukie, OR and Richard (Laura) Dinger of Evansville, IN; grandchildren Shannan Quist, Chadd Dinger, Betsy Dinger and Katie (Hector) Lopez; five great-grandchildren; Brandon, Caitlyn and McKenna Quist, Kaylee Dinger and Brady Lopez; brother Raymond (Helen) Grand of AZ; siblings-in-law Mary Hogue of Akron and Joseph Dinger of Suffield; and nieces and nephews including special niece Carolyn (Edward) Miller of Suffield. Preceded in death by her husband John in 2013; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Final resting place is Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery Columbarium in Rittman, Ohio and services will be at the cemetery on Friday September 28th at 1 PM.
