Eva Marie (Farelli) Fishberg (Eve) age 83, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025 in Dayton, Ohio. She was born on December 14, 1942, in Canton, Ohio, to Louis and Enrichetta (Boccuti) Farelli.
Eve was a proud graduate of Timken High School in Canton, Ohio. She worked as a medical administrative assistant and later enjoyed a successful career as a realtor. Her dedication and compassion were her driving force.
In 1984, Eve married the love of her life, Dr. Alan C. Fishberg, who was not only her husband but her soulmate and best friend. Together, they shared many years filled with endless love, laughter and deep companionship.
Eve was a devoted wife, mother, Nana, sister, cousin and aunt. She is survived by her beloved husband, Alan; her sister, Rosemary Powley, her sister in law Dianne (David Rosenfield) her daughters Kim Gilbert (Steve) and Barbara DeVane (Matt) ; and her stepchildren Debbie Selengut (Dovid), Michael Fishberg (Miriam), and Julie Newman (Ashi). She was most proud of her 6 beautiful granddaughters Madelin Scolley (Joe), Carder Gilbert (Will Shephard), Phoebe Gilbert, Emily DeVane, Abby DeVane and Allison DeVane. The birth of her great grandson, Harry Scolley brought joy to her life as well as her 21 step-grandchildren and 60 step-great grandchildren whose love she felt.
Eve was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Louis, Vince, Donnie, Joe and Mark Farelli.
Known for her beautiful smile, loving heart, quick wit and generous spirit, Eve will be remembered as the kindest, most gentle and deeply devoted matriarch to her family. She loved cooking, golfing, reading and most of all spending time with her husband, Alan, her family and her many friends.
Eve's legacy lives on through the love she shared so freely, the goodness she showed to everyone she met and her family who she cherished above all else. Love you more Nana!
Graveside service with Rabbi Mordechai Fishberg will be held at Canton Hebrew Cemetery at 1:30 PM on Monday. December 29.
Calling hour will be held at Arnold Funeral Home at 1517 Market Ave. N. on Monday, December 29 from 3:30PM to 4:30PM.
