Ethel May Preston, age 90, of Randolph went Home to be with her Lord on Saturday morning September 6, 2008 at Maplewood Care Centre in Streetsboro. She was born on December 23, 1917 in Johnny Cake Hollow in Randolph, OH to the late Ford and Lena (Wilson) Beans and married her high school sweetheart John Wilfred Preston Dec. 25, 1938. After 60 years of marriage, John passed in 1999. A farmer's wife, Ethel decorated wedding cakes for many. Also preceded in death by brothers Alton and Wade Beans; she is survived by her children Paul (Pat) Preston of Bath, Allen (Patricia) Preston of Uniontown, and Ruth (Chuck) Dennison of Streetsboro; 6 grandchildren Tom Preston, Cynthia Cooper, Vanessa Marks, Eric Preston, Stephanie Preston, Scot Preston, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; as well as other relatives and friends. Calling hours are Monday 4-7 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. Funeral services are Tuesday 11 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Rob Taylor officiating.
