Obituary

Esther Coblentz, 85, of Hartville, peacefully passed away on Monday February 8, 2021 surrounded by her husband and children.

Caring for people was a priority in Esther's life whether her children, husband, reaching out to individuals who needed a helping hand, hosting events at church or world missions. With two sets of twins, Esther was well known for being meticulous, organized and an exceptional homemaker. Packing her husband's lunches everyday for 60 years was a highlight in her life as well as supporting the Women's Auxiliary Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractor's Association in which she was elected Woman of the Year. Other milestones, accomplishments and memberships follow: Mother of the Year from her church, Thrift Store/ 10,000 Villages Manager, cleaning and organizing dolls and dolls clothing, member of Marlboro Mennonite Church and then Cornerstone Community Chapel.

Preceded in death by her parents Mose and Edna Troyer and stepmother Amy Eash Troyer, she is survived by her husband Leon A Coblentz; three brothers Clarence (Sarah) Troyer, Mervin (Nina) Troyer, Don Troyer; her sister Ruth (Nate) Zehr; six children Randall (Grace) Coblentz, Wendell (Catherine) Coblentz, Myron Coblentz  (Roger), Curtis (Julie) Coblentz, Sandy (Mike) Jarvis and Sheldon (Chanda) Coblentz; 14 grandchildren Jovan (Lindsey) Coblentz, Mindy (Sam) Blough, Jeff (Julie) Smith, Caleb (Carmen) Coblentz, Stacy Coblentz (Jason), Ryan Coblentz, Brittany (Clint) Grogan, Brooke (Chad) Kline, Tyler Jarvis, Alysia O'Harrow (Dustin), Corbin (Sarah) Coblentz, Brenden Coblentz (Emily), Preston and Elliot Coblentz; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Calling hours are Wednesday 5-8 PM at Cornerstone Community Chapel, 1250 Edison St. Final viewing is Thursday in the church 12-12:45PM. Funeral services are Thursday 1:00 PM at Cornerstone Community Chapel with Pastor Ron Embleton and Pastor Stan Grizzle officiating and can be viewed livestreamed at YouTube.com, Cornerstone Community Chapel. Final resting place is Walnut Grove Cemetery and can be viewed livestreamed at arnoldfuneralhomesfacebook. Facemasks are recommended. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideon's International or Cornerstone Community Chapel.
