Esther L. Chaney, age 95, a resident of St. Luke's Lutheran Community, passed away Tuesday morning. Esther was born in Canton to the late J. Harrison and Brenna Marie (Brown) Chaney. She was a graduate of McKinley High School and a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Esther had worked in many parts of the country and had many wonderful friends wherever she went. Her friends would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff of St. Luke's for their care. Funeral service will be 12 noon Thursday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to service.
