Obituary

Ernest L. Yoder, 90, life long resident of Uniontown passed away Wednesday September 16, 2015. Born February 24, 1925 to Levi and Katie (Miller) Yoder. He was a member of New Horizons Christian Church in Akron, Ohio. His careers were dairy farming and at Migchelbrink Concrete Products in Uniontown. He was an avid and passionate fox hunter. Preceded in death by his parents; first wife Mattie (Shrock), second wife Ruth (Stricklen); brothers Sam, Alvin and Elmer; sisters Naomi, Mary and Arie; and step-daughter Judy Pritchard. He is survived by his son Albert (Dora) Yoder and foster son Maurice (Beulah) Reynolds; step-daughter Debra (Mick) Matczyszyn; 11 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother Freeman (Pat) Yoder and sister Alta (Mose) Troyer; and sisters-in-law Lois Yoder and Verba (Yoder) Troyer. Services will be held Saturday September 19th at Cornerstone Mennonite Church located at 1250 Edison St NW Hartville, OH 44632. Calling hours are 1-2:30 PM and funeral services begin at 2:30 with Pastor Jim Bane officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery. A fellowship dinner will be served at the church following burial. All family and friends are welcome.
