Erma Beachy, age 89, went home to be with the Lord on November 12, 2025. She was born in Canton on April 18, 1936, as one of 10 children to the late Henry and Mary Ann (Miller) Shrock. Erma grew up in North Canton and spent time working in various retail settings including the Hartville Coin Exchange, Hartville Hardware and was a longtime volunteer at the Hartville Thrift Shoppe in the purse department.  She was a hard worker who took pride in all that she did, teaching her children and grandchildren to do the same. Erma had a love for arranging flowers, cooking, sewing and orchestrating family gatherings. She loved the Lord and was a member of Evermore Community Church for over 60 years.

Erma is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Beachy who died on the same date, November 12, in 1988.

She is survived by her children Pam (Dwayne) Blough and Brad (Beverly) Beachy; grandchildren Faith (John) Briscoe, Sam (Mindy) Blough, Megan (Joel) Schlabach, Daniel (Whitney) Beachy, Kelsey (Joe) Wood, and Bradley (Alyssa) Beachy; 20 great-grandchildren, brother Noah (Dorothy) Schrock.

Calling hours will be Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Evermore Community Church from 4-6 PM. Funeral services will be at 10:30, Monday, in the church with Pastor Butch Nisly and Pastor Ross Miller officiating. Final resting place is the church cemetery.
