Erika Smith, age 48, of Hartville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday September 5, 2007. She was born in Rahden, Germany on November 7, 1958 and graduated from Lake High School. She was a member of Maple Grove Mennonite Church and also attended First Friends Church. Survived by her loving son Patrick Allen; parents, John E. and Grace Gingerich of Hartville; brother Philip (Sharon) Gingerich of Canton; sister, Rhoda (Marvin) Sommers of Hartville; niece Heidi Gingerich and daughter Aria; nephews Andy (Nikki) Sommers and Paul (Angie) Sommers and children, Landon, Taylor and Kyle. Friends may call Thursday (TONIGHT) 6-9 PM in Maple Grove Mennonite Church and Friday 9-9:45 AM before services. Funeral services are Friday 10 AM in the church with Pastor Myron Weaver officiating. Final resting place is at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
