Emma Yoder, age 89, of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday night June 8, 2010. She was born on July 20, 1920 in Burton, Ohio to the late Neil and Lizzy Ann (Fisher) Hershberger. She was a member of the Amish Church in Pinecraft, Florida. She married Albert Yoder on November 27, 1941. They lived in Burton until 1961 then moved to Hartville. During retirement they spent winters in Florida. She is survived by her husband, Albert; children Betty (Wayne) Beachy, Alta (William) Miller, Sara (Leander) Miller, Paul (Rhoda) Yoder, Sylvia (Junior) Miller, David (Ruth Ann) Yoder, Albert Jr. (Glenda) Yoder, Ruth (James) Wagler, Rose (Mark) Wagler, Ellen (Donnie) Wagler, Steven (Lizzie Ann) Yoder, Miriam Troyer, Mary (Joe) Troyer; sisters Ada (Raymond) Miller, Tillie (Abe) Miller, Lydia Ann (Robert) Detweiler; brothers Jonas, Crist (Mary), Neil (Emma) and Noah (Anna) Hershberger; 34 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by daughter Barbara Wengerd; sisters, Ella Kaufman, Fannie Yoder, Lizzie Ann Miller, Anna Miller, Sara Miller and Amanda Hershberger. Calling hours are Thursday (TODAY) 1-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Bethany Mennonite Church. Funeral services will be Friday 9:30 AM at Bethany Mennonite Church with Homer Zook and Pete Kuhns officiating.
