Emily Anne Lavy

Emily Anne Lavy passed away to the Lord on September 8, 2026. She was the daughter of Glenn Issac and Emily Phipps. She is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter Rebecca Lee, and son-in-law, Alan; brothers Robert and wife Jeanie and Patrick (deceased) and wife Janet; brother-in-law, Randall and wife Vera; and many nephews and cousins.

Anne was born in West Virginia. She graduated from Fairmont High School and Fairmont State College. She taught at Lake High School in Hartville. Following her daughter Becky’s birth, she became a full-time mother and homemaker. She enjoyed many family vacations, skiing, ballroom dancing, and working in the yard. The love of her life was taking care of her home and family.

Services will be held at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Calling hours will be Thursday, September 10 from 6-7 PM and Friday, September 11, from 12–1 PM. Services will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Joel Cochran officiating. Burial will take place at Mount Peace Cemetery in Hartville.
