Emelina Pocci, age 92, Our beautiful and beloved Emelina passed away at her home, entering into the kingdom of Heaven on July 26, 2012 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Barnesboro, Pennsylvania to the late Tebaldo and Sylvia (Piastrelli) Pocci. Emelina retired from Canton Corrugated Box Company where she enjoyed working. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings; Elio, Daniel and Louise, nephew; Chuckie, cousin; Isabella, friends; Beverly and Frances. Emelina is survived by her brother; Ezzio Pocci, sister; Mary Schreck, special niece and nephew; Monica L. Pocci and Victor A. Pocci. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Special friends; Andy Caldwell, Steve Heckman, Sammy, Jacob and Bobby also survive. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Basilica of St. John the Baptist with the Very Reverend Ronald M. Klingler as Celebrant. (The procession will form at church) Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. NW.
