Elvena Sternberg, age 96, of Denver, Colorado, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, West Palm Beach, FL, and Canton, OH passed away on Monday December 7, 2015. She was born on September 9, 1919 in Cleveland, OH to the late Harvey and Evelyn (Markowitz) Drucker. Preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Sternberg on July 29, 1998; son Robert Harvey Sternberg on September 15, 2006; brother Eugene Drucker and sister Gwen Drucker Gore. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Susie and Rick Grossman of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren and spouses George and Kari Grossman, Brian Grossman, Leslie Mann, Jonathan Sternberg, Josh Sternberg and Axel Kusber and great-grandchildren Grady Grossman, Shanti Grossman, Halle Mann, Benjamin Mann, Phoebe Mann and Braden Mann. Funeral services will be Thursday 2:00 PM at Temple Israel with Rabbi Jon Adland officiating. Final resting place is North Lawn Cemetery.
