Elvena A. "Midge" Morris, age 92 of Canton died Thursday afternoon in Oakhill Manor Car Center. Born in Canal Fulton to the late George & Grace (Putt) Felton, she was a member of the North Canton Eagles, enjoyed bingo, fishing, camping and was an avid collector of owl paraphernalia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Charles R. Morris a sister Velma Barwick. Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Charles (Nona) Cotyk of Canton, Mrs. David (Janice) Carlin and Carol Ann Bayer both of TN. Son: Russell G. (Barbara) Morris of Minerva. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sister: Eleanor Emanuelson of Canton. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Oakhill Manor for taking Elvena into their hearts and caring for her. Funeral service will be Monday 11:00 A.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas St. W. with Mrs. Forest Yoder officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 1 to 3 P.M. and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
