Ellen E. Palmer, age 86, of North Canton passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011. She was born in North Canton to the late Charles D. & Ellen G. (Miller) Holben. Ellen worked in the banking business for 40 years and retired from Amerimold Inc. in 2006. She was a life long member of the Zion United Church of Christ of North Canton where she enjoyed music and was a member of the choir. She had participated in several traveling singing groups throughout her lifetime. In addition to her parents Ellen was preceded in death by her husband: Chuck Palmer. She is survived by a daughter: Susan E. (Bruce) Bradshaw of Canton. Three sons: Thomas (Marilyn), William (Laura), and Gerald (Elizabeth) Wensel all of Hartville, OH. Nine grandchildren: Jen, Tom, Bill, Jamie, Christopher & Stephanie Wensel, Rachel Dewalt, Rayna Jones, & Nathan Bradshaw. Thirteen great grandchildren also survive. Funeral service will be Monday 10:30 A.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Avenue., N.W. with Rev. Eli O. Klingensmith officiating. Interment will be in North Canton Cemetery.
