Ellen Dillmore, age 96, of Hartville, passed away on Saturday September 26, 2015. She was born November 12, 1918 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to the late Arthur and Mabel (Reed) Rutter. She married her high school sweetheart Howard "Edwin" Dillmore on October 7th and they celebrated 69 years of marriage before he passed away on January 21, 2006. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren. Ellen was a member of Greentown Church of the Nazarene. Through the years, she enjoyed refinishing furniture and collecting. Preceded in death by her husband, Ed; sons Jim and Ronnie; daughter Sara Barnhart; granddaughter Jamie Dillmore; great-granddaughter Sophie Capo; 6 siblings. She is survived by her children Ed Jr. (Phyllis) Dillmore, Mrs. Jim (Carolyn) Dillmore, Chuck Barnhart, Bill (Jean) Dillmore and Doris (Denis) Capo; 22 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great- grandchildren. Calling hours are Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. Funeral services are Thursday 11 AM in the funeral home with Ellen's grandson Pastor Bob Barnhart officiating.
