Elizabeth "Betty" Pratt, age 91, died peacefully at the Inn at Whitewood Village in North Canton after an illness. She was the daughter of the late Harry M. and Ida Barnhart Shane. Betty was a lifelong resident of Canton, Ohio and a graduate of Lincoln High School. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. As an active member of many local organizations including Christ Presbyterian Church, Canton Woman's Club, Brookside Country Club, Canton Symphony League and Arboretum Garden Club, she enjoyed volunteering.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Robert "Bob" Pratt; daughter, Janice Pratt; two sisters, Harriet Miculan and Rose Marie Campbell; and two brothers, Robert and Arthur Shane. She is survived by a sister, Paula (Eugene) Grabast of Buena Park, CA; daughters, Susan (Kraig) Dickes of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Carolyn (Gregory) Hoogkamp of New York City and a son, David (Bonnie) Pratt of North Canton. Also surviving are a granddaughter Jacquelyn (George) Garcia and grandsons, Robert (Sarah) Dickes, Andrew (Jenna) Pratt, Timothy (Jenner) Pratt, Christopher Pratt, Austin and Hunter Hoogkamp; six great-grandchildren, Erin and Harper Dickes, Edward and Reina Garcia, and Hank and Belle Pratt; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be 11:30 AM on Saturday in the Community Christian Church in North Canton. A private interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call 5:00- 7:00 p.m. Friday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W.
