Elizabeth D. "Betsy" Blohm, age 91, died Thursday afternoon in the Canton Regency. Born in Canton to the late Alva & Louella (Richards) Deal she was a 1937 graduate of McKinley High School and graduated from Dennison University in 1941. She was a retired executive from the Ohio Bell Telephone Company, attended Zion United Church of Christ and was a member the Lake Cable Woman's Club. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Theodore "Ted" Blohm in 2005 and two brothers George L. and James R. Deal. Survivors include four nieces: Barbara & Sana Hale (David) of Canton, Barbara Russell of Clinton, OH and Paula Sklodowski of Ft. Myers, FL. Numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Rev. Eli O. Klingensmith officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Zion United Church of Christ 415 S. Main St., N.
