Elizabeth M. Carlson, age 57, of Canton went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Friday, June 26, 2009 in Mercy Medical Center. She was born on December 30, 1951 in Massillon to the late Robert R. and Ruth E. (Stauffer) Carlson. Beth graduated from Washington High School in 1970 and was very active with the Girl Scouts. Long standing member of Faith Lutheran Church in Massillon and also a member of the Church of the Open Door in Sandyville. Beth loved animals. She was a resident and a volunteer in many areas at Manor Care Belden Village Nursing Center including being President Council President and ministering to many at the nursing home. Survived by a sister, Cathy K. (Wayne) Miller of Columbus, OH. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Faith Lutheran Church in Massillon with Pastor Herbert Garnes III officiating. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 10:00 AM in the chapel at Manor Care Belden Village with Rev. Lisa Elliott officiating.
