Elizabeth (Betty, Becky) Jane Popelmayer age 93 passed away peacefully following a brief illness (pneumonia) on October 16, 2014. Born in Canton, Ohio on July 5, 1921 the daughter of the late William B. and Esther M. Parry. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald J. Blake in 1991, her second husband, Joseph Popelmayer in 2005, her brothers, Bill and Jack Parry and her sister, Esther Parry. Becky is survived by her daughters, Toni (Tom) Parsons of North Canton, Theresa (Anthony) Funaro of Halls, TN and son Donald (MaryJo) Blake of Waukegan, IL . Grandchildren: Kim (James) Reed, Kendra (David) Schwepker, Garth (Jessica) Mitchell, Blake Mitchell, Paige Mitchell, Abbra (Hector) Cadle, Dylan Blake, Shari Blake, Thomas Blake, Dominisha Blake, Devan Blake, and Josie Blake. Ten great grandchildren. Many wonderful nieces and nephews and close friend Robert Hattersley. Becky was a 1939 graduate of Lehman High School and attended Fairfax Hall, in Virginia. She owned and operated a dance studio in Salem, IL and Betts School of the Dance in St. Louis, MO. She was a member of Brookside Country Club.
