Eleanor Louise Steenrod, age 88, of Canton, formerly of Navarre passed away Saturday morning in Oakhill Life Care Center. Born in Canton to the late Lawrence & Emma (Simon) Price. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Adonis Steenrod in 1998, brothers Don and Lloyd Price and a son-in-law Tom Blanchard. Eleanor is survived by two daughters; Diane Blanchard and Donna (Lee Douglas)Dieringer, grandchildren; Carie (Rob), Jessica (Walter) and Heather, great-grandchildren; Samantha, Alexandria and Madelyn, step-great-granddaughter, Whitney, sister Wilma Stauffer and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. NW. with Rev. Dr. Bruce Mont officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
