IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eleanor
Sirak
September 11, 1925 – April 4, 2013
ELEANOR G. SIRAK, age 87, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short illness. A lifelong resident of Canton, Eleanor is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Ronald Arenstein, grandchildren Lisa Arenstein, Adam Arenstein, his wife Erica Hymen, and Jason Sirak. She was preceded in death by her son, Norman Sirak, brothers Arthur Genshaft and David Genshaft. Eleanor was a retired bookkeeper for Superior Computer Service, a subsidiary of FreshMark and Mark30 Travel which she founded in 1970. She was a life-long member of Shaaray Torah Synagogue, past president of both Sisterhood and Hadassah. Although Eleanor was an avid card player for many years, her main devotion was to her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She shared many motorhome trips throughout the country and enjoyed visiting many national parks. Eleanor was known for her selfless volunteer efforts from the depression years to the present. She was a true philanthropist, giving generously to worthy causes. Eleanor will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 1:00PM at Beit Ha'am, the new Jewish Center of Canton, with Cantor Bruce Braun officiating. Contributions may be made to Shaaray Torah Synagogue, Jewish Family Services or Hadassah. (Arnold-Canton 330-456-7291) www.arnoldfuneralhome.com
