Eleanor Baird Frey, age 87, of Canton passed away Monday, December 22, 2014. She was born in Canton to the late Donald and Leona (Dunkel) Baird. Eleanor was a 1945 graduate of Mt. Marie Academy, attended Hiram College and a 1950 graduate of The Ohio State University. She was the granddaughter of Major Frank Baird of the Major Baird Nursery School. She was a retired Occupational Therapist, an avid Ohio State University fan and loved her gardens. In addition to her parents Eleanor was preceded in death by her brother, David Baird. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Carolyn Baird and her beloved dog, Jake. A private graveside service will be held in North Lawn Cemetery.
