Elaine M. Fidler, age 72, of Plain Township, passed away Wednesday evening. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Frank and Frances (Kuklewicz) Mejstrik. Elaine retired from Mercy Medical Center and was a strong supporter of Stark County Humane Society, McKinley Museum, and the Akron Zoo. She was also a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church of North Canton.

Elaine was a loving wife to James Fidler; a loving mom of furry friends, Winslow, Sherpa, and Simon; a brother, Dennis (Lynn) Ward also survives.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday in the Zion Lutheran Church, North Canton with The Rev. William Weidenbach, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday in the church fellowship hall.
