Eileen M. Rafeld, age 83, of Canton, passed away Saturday, May 1 at the Canton Regency after a brief illness. Born in Canton to the late Lawrence and Helen (Haldeman) Hart. Preceeded in death by husband Glenn Rafeld in 1994, she is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Steven (Joan) Trent of Tallmadge; and Mrs. George (Barbara) Walker of Canton; three grandchildren, Heather M. (Richard) Grant, Joshua G. (Betsie) Walker, and Matthew S. Trent; two great grandchildren, Christopher and Ryan Grant; two brothers, Lawrence Hart, Jr. of N. Canton, and Ted (Helen) Hart of FL. She was a graduate of Middlebranch High School and was a member of the Class of '44 Lunch Bunch. Eileen enjoyed her many friends at the Canton Regency, and was a member of Westbrook Park United Methodist Church. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00pm in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W. with Rev. Barry French officiating. Interment will be in Henry Warstler Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. The family wishes to thank her wonderful caregivers at Aultman Hospital and the Canton Regency.
