Eileen M. Fetrow, age 75 of Canton left this world February 28, 2008 in the comfort of her son's home with family by her side. Born April 7, 1932 in Canton to the late Joseph K. and Edith Belle (Thoburn) Allan, Eileen was a 1950 graduate of Lehman High School and has remained on the reunion committee. When her children were young, she was president of Garfield School PTA and has been an avid bowler, crafter, and knitter. In her lifetime, Eileen was caregiver to her grandmother, father, mother, and brother when they were unable to care for themselves. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by 4 sons Timothy Carl, Robert Paul, David Lee, and Steven Douglas; and 3 brothers Glenn, Robert, and Richard. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Sherwood (Shad); 2 children Linda (David) Jones, and Thomas (Mary) Fetrow; 5 grandchildren Richard and Erin Jones (Michael Hoover), Bradley, Douglas, and Kathryn Fetrow; 3 great-grandchildren Kobe and Tyler Hoover and Gavin Hayes. Friends may call Sunday 3-6 PM in Arnold Funeral Home and 1 hour prior to services Monday 12-1 PM. Funeral services are Monday 1 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Kenneth Scheck officiating.
