Edna Irene Walker, age 82, of Hartville, passed away on Sunday July 1, 2012 at Altercare of Hartville. She was born April 26, 1930 and was a life long resident of the Hartville area. Edna graduated from Marlboro High School in 1948, was a former member of the Hartville United Church of Christ and recently attended the Chapel in Marlboro. She enjoyed attending activities and services with her many friends at Pleasant View Mennonite Church and the Hartville Christian School. Preceded in death by her father Robert (1973) and mother Pearl Steffy (1969); cousins Catherine Ladd Bunker, Ruth Lang, Hugh Steffy; and long time friend Dick Miller. She is survived by cousins Ostie and Bob Wilhelm, Robert Steffy; members of The Catherine Bunker Family (David Bunker, Evelyn Skidmore, Jayne Warner, Roberta Engelhart and Mary Boyd); long time friends The Don Nixon Family (Don, Suzy, Diane and Mark); The James Wagler Family (James, Ruth, Aaron, Josh, Joel, Rebekah and Rachael); and The Anna Griffin Family (Anna, Steve and Ed). Calling hours are Wednesday 10-11 AM and funeral services will begin at 11 AM at Arnold Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Cochran officiating. Final resting place is Mount Peace Cemetery.
