Edith M. Scheutzow, age 78 of Hartville, passed away Monday morning, January 18, 2010 in Akron City Hospital. She was born October 1, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio to Arthur and Eleanor (Fabian) Stenzel. Edith and her husband Roy owned and operated the Beltone Hearing Centers from 1962 until retiring in 1997. She was an active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in North Canton and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sarasota, Florida. In 1990 and 1991 she was the International President of Quota International Club and traveled extensively throughout the world on their behalf. She was a charter member of the Lake Township YMCA and was a past member of Congress Lake Club. Edith is survived by her husband of 59 years Roy; daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Carl Young of North Canton, Janet and Clifton Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana, Diane Ross of Westerville, Amy and Larry Mustafaga of North Canton; sister, Ellie Murray of Avon Lake; 10 grandchildren, Karen (David) Jankowski, Kyle (Kristen) Young, Triston Young, Andrew (Brianna) Johnson, Scott Johnson, Jon Ross, Jake Ross, Amanda (Patrick) Weygand, Zach Mustafaga, Alex Mustafaga and 3 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday evening 5-8:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville and Friday 10-11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church 7707 Market Ave. N. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the Church with Pastor Kip Smith officiating.
