Edith Abramson (nee Reichstein) has died in Venice, Ca. Sunday, June 3, 2007, age 88. She was widowed by David R. Abramson in 1968. She is survived by two sons, Ben, 55, Donald, 53 (Julie King) and a daughter, Karen, 47 (Zvi) Hollander and eight grandchildren. Edith was a resident of Canton for 48 years upon marriage. Her birthplace was Detroit, Michigan. She was an active member of Shaaray Torah Synagogue, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday school, serving as librarian for many years and was president of the Sisterhood. She volunteered as an income tax preparer for the AARP. Edith enjoyed living in Canton and will be remembered among friends. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, (TODAY) June 5, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the Canton Hebrew Cemetery with Rabbi Moshe Sonnenschein officiating.
