Edgar Collins Jr., age 73 of Hartville completed his journey on earth and went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday December 9, 2008. He was born in Garrett, Kentucky on May 28, 1935 to the late Edgar Sr. and Malta (Willett) Collins and attended McKinley High School. He worked for Teledyne Monarch Rubber for 23 years and then for Quality Mold for 20 years. He was a long time member of Grace Brethren Church of Middlebranch where he taught Sunday School and served the Lord in many capacities. Ed enjoyed sailing, fishing and spending time with his family. Survived by his beloved wife, Mona of 51 years; 3 children, Michael and Judy Collins of Hartville, Lori and John Mangrum of Bloomington, IN, Stephen and Danielle Collins of North Canton; grandchildren, David and Diana Collins, Jaclyn Collins, Kara and Brian Kudro, Caleb Mangrum, Stephen and Christian Collins; great-granddaughter Olivia Collins; sister Peggy Tate of Carson City, NV; and other relatives and friends. Calling hours are Sunday 2-5 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. Funeral services are Monday 11 AM in the Grace Brethren Church of Middlebranch with Pastor Jeffrey Brown and Pastor John Mangrum officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services in the church Monday 10-11 AM. His final resting place will be Mount Peace Cemetery.
