Edela B. Ely, age 87, of Uniontown, Ohio and formerly of Dale City, Virginia, passed away Saturday May 28, 2011. She was born in Hosbach, Germany on May 26, 1924 to the late Michael and Anna Marie Bergman. She met her husband Ord while he was stationed in Germany and they married in 1953. She became a proud citizen of the United States in 1954. She loved her grandchildren and was devoted to her family. She enjoyed gardening and playing the organ. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Ord; daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Bruce Stiver of Uniontown; grandchildren Casey Ellwood and Michael Ellwood of Uniontown; and many other relatives and friends. Calling hours are Wednesday 6-8 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home Hartville and one hour prior to services on Thursday 10-11AM. Funeral services are Thursday 11 AM in the funeral home.
