Earl N. Wilson, age 89, passed away unexpectedly following surgery at the Cleveland Clinic on Tuesday evening, June 6, 2017.He was born December 15, 1927 in Akron to Walter and Grace (Tennite) Wilson. Earl retired as a manager from Teledyne Monarch Company in 1990 following a 44 year career. He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church. Earl was a member of the Canton Foreman's Club and loved golfing, fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his wife Ilene in 2009. He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Donald and Margaret Wilson of Hartville, Allen and Deborah Wilson of Hudson; sisters Virginia Vartenuk of Suffield, Betty Bridenthal of Chippewa; brother, Edwin Wilson of Suffield; grandchildren, Jennifer Surmay (Ryan), Matthew Wilson, Joshua and Shawn Wilson; great grandson, Nathan Surmay. He was also preceded in death by sisters Alfretta Wykoff and Shirley Wilson; brothers, Walter, James and Wayne Wilson.

Calling hours will be Sunday June 11, 2017, 2-5:00 pm at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday 10:00 a.m. in Little Flower Catholic Church with Fr, Leo Wehrlin as Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Jacob Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
