Earl A. Silknitter, age 82, of Green Meadows in Louisville, passed away Tuesday April 4, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Rootstown on July 26, 1923 to Alvin and Sarah Necette (Rhodenbaugh) Silknitter, Earl had been a farmer and resided in East Rochester. Preceded in death by a son and nephew Ronald Wile, he is survived by a sister, Pauline Brainard of North Canton; son Dennis Silknitter of Greenville; 3 grandchildren; and nephews Gary Wile of Uniontown and Jerry Wile of North Canton.
