TOGETHER AGAIN Earl Pollak Earl Pollak, age 80, of Jackson Township died Thursday afternoon, November 11, 2010, Veterans Day. Born July 26, 1930 in New York City to the late Edward and Jenny (Horwitt). He served in the US Army during the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart. He has been an area resident for more than 35 years and was the long time owner and operator of the Belden Village Twin Cinemas. He was the beloved husband of Joan. They were childhood sweethearts and were married for 45 years. They were partners in every sense and deeply loved each other. Dear father of Larry (Columbus), Dan and Suzanne (Silver Spring, MD), Chip (Columbus) and Suzanne and Alan Gilbert (Hudson). Loving grandfather of Lisa, Benjamin, David, Joshua, Alison and Michael. Also survived by brothers Martin (Ellen) Pollak and Stephen (Karen) Pollak. Services will be held Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in the Arnold Funeral Home with Cantor Bruce Braun officiating. Internment in Canton Hebrew Cemetery. There are no calling hours and Shiva will be observed at the home. Contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
