E. June (Lieser) Thoma, of Canton, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2010 in Altercare of Nobles Pond. Born June 17, 1920 to Bernice (Endlich) and Gust Lieser. Preceded in death by both parents, sister, Phyllis Snyder, one granddaughter and her husband of 24 years, Gerald F. Thoma in July of 1968. Survived by her loving and devoted brother and best friend Richard G. Lieser of North Canton. Three children Bette (Thoma) Haynes (Tom) of Ruskin, Florida, son, Gerald "Jerry" Thoma (Vicki) of Kensington, Ohio and daughter, Cheryl (Thoma) Hutcheson (Dan) of Canton, Ohio. Seven grandchildren; Tanya Haynes Paul (Mark) of Aurora, Colorado, Kimberly (Hutcheson) Bryant (David) of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Robyn (Thoma) Moulin of Charlotte, North Carolina, Michele Hutcheson of Canton, Ohio, Jeff Haynes (Cheryl) of Batavia, Illinois, Stephanie (Thoma) Cope (Robert) of Alliance, Ohio; Ken Hutcheson (Tami) of Canton. 12 great grandchildren, 2 beloved nieces, Carol and Marcia and cousins from both Stone Creek and Cuyahoga Falls. June graduated from McKinley High School Class of 1938. She was baptized and confirmed at First E.V.B. Church of Canton where she taught Sunday school for many years. Most recently a member of Trinity U.C.C. of Canton where she made many friends and was a member of Afternoon Circle. She loved reading and traveling and gardening and took great pride in her home! Her family was everything to her. What a wonderful role model she was...she will be greatly missed but cherished forever! A cancer survivor since 1988...Her most recent home was at the Inn at Belden Village. Funeral Service will be Wednesday 11 A.M. in Trinity United Church of Christ with Pastor Lynn Bozich Shetzer officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.
