Duane David Vansant, age 64 of Massillon died early Saturday morning. Born in Defiance, OH to the late Earl and Betty (Metzger) Vansant. Preceded in death by his wife, Deborah, he is survived by a daughter, Danielle Mullane; two sons, Derek (Missy) Mullane and Timothy (Holleh) Vansant; three grandchildren, Charles and Christopher Gordon and Selah Vansant; two sisters, Sally Smith and Sue Chapek; long time friend, Cathy Lohr and his dog, Duke. A memorial service will be 6:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas St., W. with Pastor Edward Fashbaugh officiating. A private interment will follow the service.
