Doyle G. Miller, Sr., age 85, of Canton died Tuesday afternoon December 20, 2011 in Aultman Hospital with his loved ones beside him. Born in Canton to the late Samuel B. & Vesta (VanVoorhis) Miller he was a life resident. Doyle attended Lehman High School (Class of 1944), and was a Navy Veteran of WW II, stationed at Wake Island. He was a retired finish carpenter having worked for Ralph Schneider, Taylor and Olivieri Construction; he also had his own home building company. Memberships include the American Legion, North Canton Elk's, 60 year member of Canton Lodge # 60 F & AM. Doyle is survived by his wife: Caroline Kay (Numer) Miller. Two sons: Doyle (Dana) Miller, Jr. of Canton and William (Jennifer) Miller of Cincinnati. Four granddaughters: Lindsay, Karly, Ariel and Chelsea. Step daughter: Sandra Bottazzi and two step granddaughters: Jenifer and Ashley Hecht. In accordance with Doyle's wishes, a private service will take place.
