Douglas S Stumpp

Douglas S. Stumpp, age 73 of Canton, passed away Wednesday August 5, 2026, in Akron General Hospital. He was born March 26, 1953, in Canton to Robert and Elizabeth (Humes) Stumpp.

Doug worked in quality control for Genie Garage Door Opener Company. He loved music and in his younger years played guitar in local band. He had an engineering mind in electronics and could repair just about anything including clocks.

Douglas is survived by brothers, Kurt Stumpp and Christopher (Jodie) Stumpp; sister Debra Stumpp.

Following cremation and according to Doug’s wishes, a private family memorial service will be held.
