Dorothy B. McArtor, age 87, of Canton died Tuesday morning in Chapel Hill Community after an extended illness. Born to the late Alfred and Alice (Brandenburg) Tewart she was retired from the Social Security Administration. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by a sister: Madeline Russell and a niece Donna Mooney. Survivors include a niece Nancy Boger of Canton and a nephew: Robert McArtor of North Carolina. Numerous great nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be Saturday 12 Noon in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Pastor Sandy Hutchison officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
