Dorothy Marie Malmsbury, age 92, of Canton, passed away Wednesday morning in Summit's Trace of Greater Canton. Born in Endicott, New York to the late John and Lura (Vosburg) Summers, Dorothy was retired from Higbees Department Store; she was an avid golfer, bowler and artist. In addition to her parents Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Russell in 1957. Dorothy is survived by a son; Russell N. (Wanda) Malmsbury of Galena, MO, granddaughter; Christina "Nikki" (Scott) Yoneda of Los Angeles, CA; sister; Doris Shafer of Wilmington, NC, brother; Howard (Georgeene) Summers of Canton, Nieces; Sally Finch of Coronado, CA, Susan Rumphorst of Geneva, Switzerland, Barbara Whitehouse of Massillon, OH, Cathy Skelton of Louisville, KY and Nephew; John Shafer of Wilmington, NC. Funeral Service Friday 1 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., NW with Rev. Thomas Hawkins officiating. Interment in North Lawn Cemetery.
