Dorothy E. Kropf, age 98, of North Canton, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, June 3, 2014. She was born in Massillon to the late George and Ella (Schram) Rambaud. Dorothy was a retired sales supervisor for the J.C. Penney Co. retiring in 1978 and a member of Christ Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Carl in 1972 and a son Carl in 1993. She is survived by her loving daughter, Sharon (Robert) Shapiro and granddaughter, Tracy Loss. Sister, Joyce (William) Hodous and many family and friends also survive. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
