Dorothy M. (Rogers) Keller, age 86, of Hartville died Monday, June 25th in Marshall, MI. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 1, 1920, daughter of the late William C. and Hazel M. Rogers. She graduated from Juniata College in PA. before she married Thomas C. Keller on June 26, 1943, while he was serving in the Army Corps of Engineers during World War II. She was a 60 year member of Christ United Methodist Church in Canton, serving many years on the Worship Committee, Administrative Council and Staff-Parish Committee. She was a faithful member of United Methodist Women with multiple positions on local, district, and conference levels. She belonged to Congress Lake Country Club for over 32 years, and was active in their Garden Club, even serving as President. She continued membership in American Society of Mechanical Engineers Auxiliary even after her husband's death in 2002. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia A. & Pastor Clarke A. Hogue of Sherrodsville, Oh, and Pamela E. & Michael P. Dougherty, children Kelly and Evan of Clarkston, MI, and son Sean & his wife Sandra Dougherty of Rochester Hills, MI; son & daughter-in-law, Jeffrey C. & Margaret A. Keller of Marshall, MI and son Bryan J. Keller of Chicago, IL; sister Helen E. Hutchinson and her daughter, son & grandson; 3 nieces and 3 nephews of deceased sister Lois James; brother-in-law John J. Keller & wife Nancy and their 2 sons & 3 grandchildren. Calling Hours are on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. After a private internment at Forest Hill in Canton, a Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm FRIDAY at Christ United Methodist Church, 3500 Cleveland Ave., NW with Reverend Norma Bates and Reverend Nancy Conley officiating. Friends may call 1 hour prior to service in the church12-1 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Christ United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
