Dorothy J. Jeffreys, age 83, died Monday evening after a brief illness. Born in Canton to the late Thomas and Hazel (Summers) Bricker she was a life resident. Dorothy was a 1948 graduate of Canton South High School, was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and was retired from Key Bank. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Jeffreys in 1991, daughter: Jackie in 2007 and a brother Robert Bricker. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law: Robert and Trina Jeffreys of Perry Township. Grandson Charlie Jeffreys. Sister: Joyce Newport, brother: Van Bricker both of Arizona. Funeral service will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, August 21, 2013 in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas St., W. with Rev. Kimberly A. Vaughn officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church 4600 Fulton Dr., N.W.
