Dorothy J. Hogan, age 81, of Canton, passed away Monday August 6, 2007 in her residence with her family by her side. She was born April 8, 1926 in Canton, graduated from Lehman High School in 1944 and Canton Actual Business College in 1946. Dorothy was an active member of Church of the Savior United Methodist where she taught Sunday School. She was a member of Canton Woman's Club, was an accomplished oil painting artist and A Grey Lady with the Red Cross at Aultman Hospital for 25 years. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Robert C. Hogan; daughter and son-in-law, Bobbie and Timothy Royer of North Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. William and Deborah Hogan of Park Hills, Kentucky; grandchildren, Sean and Christopher Hogan, Kathryn, Kristin, Andy and Caroline Royer. Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 a.m. in the Arnold Funeral Home, Canton with Dr. William R. Harvey officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service (10-11:00 a.m.).
