Dorothy Lee Cauffield passed on February 12, 2021 after a long and valiant fight with cancer.  Prior to her passing, she survived a three and a half month hospitalization with COVID-19.

She is preceded in death by husband Thomas Cauffield, brother Richard Smith, mother Angeline Scott and great nephew Cody Smith.  She is survived by beloved daughter Dr. Christine Cauffield, nephew Michael Smith (Dana), niece Kerry Eubank (Greg) and grand nieces/nephews Andrew Smith (Alyssa), Hannah Smith, Tara, Zachary, Hayden, Haylie, Colton, Logan and Brenden Eubank.

Dorothy was born in Canton, Ohio and moved to Orlando, Florida in 1959, where she resided for 50 years before moving to The Woodlands, Texas.  In 2016, she returned to Florida and resided in Jacksonville, Florida.  She served in the Orange County School System for 16 years and was a realtor in Orlando, Florida for 30 years.

Dorothy never knew a stranger and was blessed with many childhood and lifelong friends.  She loved animals and rescued over 20 during her lifetime.

Callings hours will be Thursday, February 18 from 10-11 AM at the Arnold Funeral Home at 1517 Market Ave North. Funeral Services will begin at 11 AM with Pastor Bruce Mont officiating.
