Dorothy L. Boydelatour, age 89, of Canton passed away at Windsor Medical Center on October 27, 2022. She was born January 24, 1933, as one of 12 children, in Canton, to Raymond and Hilda (Gladden) Freday and was raised by her grandparents Charles and Verda Budd. After graduating from Canton McKinley High School, she met Lester at a local YMCA dance. Following their marriage, she dedicated her life to raising her children and caring for her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lester; her son Lane; several brothers and a sister. Dorothy is survived by her children Lynn (Jill) Boydelatour and Laura Scaglione; grandchildren Renee (Gabe) Hamrick, Phillip Boydelatour, Daniel Boydelatour, Andrea Boydelatour-Hartman (Tony), and Anthony Scaglione and great granddaughter Audra Hamrick.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at the Arnold Funeral Home at 1517 Market Ave N from 12-1 PM. Funeral services will be at 1 PM in the funeral home with Celebrant Kevin O'Brien officiating. Final resting place is Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
