Doris M. Spall, age 84, of North Canton died Friday evening in Aultman Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Robert & Helen DeGrange she had lived here most of her life. Doris was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of North Canton and was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels for over twenty five years which was a passion of hers. She is survived by her husband of 60 years: Richard F. Spall of the residence. Three daughters: Sue (James) Nesci of CT, Audrey Spall of CA, and Roben Keener of North Canton. Two sons: Richard (Jeanne) Spall of Canton and Steve Spall of Willoughby, OH. Thirteen grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Four sisters: Audrey Thompson of NY, Marilyn Falcone of NJ, Helen (Robert) Ogden and Barbara (Tony) Scaturro both of FL. Brother: Robert DeGrange of NY. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 25, 2011 in Zion Lutheran Church of N. Canton with Pastor Mark Sherwindt officiating. A private interment will take place for the family. Friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W.
