Donna Rogovin, age 86, of Canton, passed away early Sunday morning February 19, 2006 in Aultman Hospital. She was born May 27, 1919 in Youngstown, Ohio to Sam and Ann (Brodia) Shapiro and has been a Canton resident since 1967. She was a member of Temple Israel, life member and former treasurer of Hadassah, and the Canton Jewish Community Center. Mrs. Rogovin was also a life master bridge player and volunteered at Aultman Hospital for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Rogovin January 30, 1979. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Susan and Robert Ulrich of North Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Jon and Rona Rogovin of Canton; brother Theodore Shapiro of Youngstown; grandchildren, Ryan Oliver of North Canton, Stacy Oliver of Valparaiso, Indiana, Melissa Berman of Orange Village, Ohio and great grandchildren, Alexis, Nichole and Jack Berman. She was also preceded in death by a brother Paul Shapiro. Funeral services will be Wednesday 1:00 p.m. in Temple Israel with Rabbi John Spitzer officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
