Donalda Dovgan, age 75 of Canton passed away unexpectedly May 30, 2007 at her home. She was born in Canton on April 23, 1932 to the late Joseph and Mary (Micowyezyk) Najmola and graduated from Lehman High School, Mercy School of Nursing and the University of Akron. She worked for Visiting Nurses of Central Stark County for 17 years and Canton City Schools for 13 years. Donalda enjoyed making baskets at the Wilderness Center. When her husband Robert was alive they enjoyed hobby farming, traveling, and dog shows. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Dovgan in 2001; sisters, Frances Bauman, Irene Lonce; brother Henry Najmola; and nephews John Najmola and Anthony Witkowski. She is survived by sisters, Josephine Witkowski of Canton and Theresa Rovito of Cleveland; and numerous nieces and nephews. A prayer service will be held prior to calling hours Sunday 2:45 PM. Calling hours are Sunday 3-5:00 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday 10:00 at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Msgr. John Finnigan officiating.
