Donald R. Peel, age 78, of Suffield passed away on October 8, 2025. He was born in Akron, O on March 30, 1947, to Donald E. and Helen (Rusu) Peel. He is a graduate of North Hill High School in Akron. Don was active in the United States Airforce following school and he spent over 30 years of his working career at the city of Cuyahoga Falls water department where he retired. In his younger years Don had a love of fishing especially in Canada and Lake Erie. He enjoyed birding., and he also enjoyed working on plastic models specifically building planes and ships Don was a man of faith and was active at Reedurban Presbyterian Church in Canton.

Don is preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline Peel. He is survived by his Son Adam (Heather) Peel, Stepchildren Bob (Shelly) Hovatter, Eddie (Jennifer) Hovatter, and Steve (Judith) Hovatter; siblings Sandra (George) Talosi and Ken (Gail) Peel; Several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Friday, October 17, 2025, from 1-3 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Memorial services will begin at 3 PM in the funeral home.
