Donald C. McNew, age 70, of Canton, passed away Friday, February 15, 2008, in his residence. Donald was born on July 23, 1937 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to the late John and Lyland (Heemer) Mc New. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and retired as a automobile mechanic. Preceded in death by his wife Wanda L. McNew on January 26, 2007 and by a brother Jack McNew. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Donald and Constance McNew of Hartville, Bill and Julie McNew of Canton; sisters Linda Kelly of Dewitt, MI, Janice Woodbury of Melvin, MI, Janette Chappel of Clifford, MI; brother and sister-in-law Garnett and Linda Thomas of SC; sister-in-law Doris McNew of Sandusky, MI and three grandchildren Brian, Erica and Rachel McNew of Canton.
